STUDENT LEARNING EXPECTATIONS

We aspire to provide a foundation for our students to become compassionate Catholic leaders of the future, by living our Student Learning Expectations (SLE) on a daily basis:

     
  • Actively participate in the Catholic Church and sacramental life
  • Develop prayer as a conversation with Christ each day
  • Find joy in serving and helping others
  • Live and grow as a Disciple of Christ
  • Develop effective listening, speaking, and writing skills
  • Contribute to group work through collaboration
  • Build problem-solving, goal-setting, and risk-taking skills
  • Practice multiple ways to creatively solve a problem
  • Appropriately use technology for learning and communicating
  • Learn to make Christ-like choices in words and actions
  • Communicate respectfully and compassionately
  • Appreciate and accept each person’s differences
  • Apply gospel values to varied cultural matters
  • Develop an awareness and appreciation for one's God-given gifts
  • Use talents and time to give back to the church and greater community
