St. Serra Catholic School is committed to making an exemplary Catholic education more accessible for families experiencing financial need. Need-based tuition assistance is available to eligible families through the generous support of donors and does not need to be repaid.

Eligibility

Be fully enrolled at St. Serra.
Demonstrate financial need.
Have no outstanding fees from the prior school year.
Have prior-year volunteer requirements in good standing.
Reapply each year.
Priority consideration is given to returning St. Serra families.
Tuition assistance is not available for preschool.

How To Apply

Complete the FACTS application.
Select St. Serra Catholic School and the appropriate school term.
Submit all required supporting documentation through FACTS.
Monitor your FACTS account to confirm your application is complete.

Tuition assistance awards are determined based on demonstrated financial need, available funding, and St. Serra’s review.
Tuition assistance applies toward tuition and does not cover additional fees or optional programs.
Incomplete applications will not be considered.
Applying does not guarantee an award.
Awards may vary from year to year.
Final tuition assistance decisions are made at the discretion of St. Serra.

Emergency Assistance

Significant changes in financial circumstances may be considered outside the regular tuition assistance timeline, including:
- Loss of employment or income
- Death of a parent or guardian
- Significant hospitalization
- Other unforeseen financial hardship
Families seeking consideration due to an unforeseen change in circumstances may be asked to provide supporting documentation.
Support may include temporary adjustments to a family’s payment plan and/or tuition assistance when appropriate.

Scholarships

We also offer a limited number of merit- and need-based scholarships through the generous support of donors. Applicants are reviewed based on the criteria established for each scholarship and may be required to complete additional steps.
