ST. SERRA'S EXTENDED CARE PROGRAM
The program is an extension of the regular school day. Exceptional child care is provided before and after school for families whose children are enrolled in Preschool or Grades TK-8. The programs emphasize social and spiritual growth, life skills, arts, crafts, and physical activities. Snacks are also provided for students enrolled in Extended Care after school.
Preschool Extended Care
The Preschool Extended Care Program provides before and after school care for 3- and 4-year-olds enrolled in a morning program at the Preschool who would like a longer school day. A variety of activities designed to enhance the preschool curriculum are offered, including sensory activities, arts and crafts, science, dramatic play, story time, and indoor and outdoor play time.
TK-8 Extended Care
St. Junipero Serra Catholic School's TK - 8 Extended Care Program provides before-school and after-school child care, and is available to all St. Serra students currently enrolled in Transitional Kindergarten through Grade 8. The program includes staff-monitored homework time, healthy snacks, crafts, indoor and outdoor games, and sports activities.
