Applying for Tuition Assistance (Please read before applying)
Tuition assistance is a temporary help in the event of unforeseen financial difficulty, and is meant to assist a family to maintain a stable school environment for a child or children during this difficult time. The availability of these funds varies according to the current year of fundraising, and even though a family may qualify, this does not guarantee that funds are available.
Applications are taken during the Spring every year, for the following school year. Priority is given to current Serra families, and an award one year is not a guarantee of an award in the future. An average award is between 5%-15%. When applying for assistance, under Student Information, FACTS will ask you to determine the amount you are willing to pay. Use the space to indicate 80% or higher for your application to be considered.
Due to COVID-19, many families have been financially impacted and due to high income the previous year, you may not qualify for Tuition Assistance via FACTS. As a possible solution, we have included some financial resources that you may consider.

- Family & Friends Program - Grandparents and other family members can make a contribution to your tuition account. Including IRA – Required Minimum Distribution (RMD)
- 529 Plans – Private school K-12 is eligible
