Safe Environment Volunteer Requirements
Much of the success of St. Junipero Serra Catholic School and its programs are dependent upon the involvement of our parents. Thank you for being willing to give your time and share your talents to enrich our students’ educational experience.
Per diocesan requirements, volunteers are required to be fingerprinted and must complete the online Safe Environment Training, “A Safe Haven – It’s Up to You”. These requirements must be met prior to any volunteering for all on or off-campus activities or events that involve being in the presence of St. Serra students. Off-campus events or activities include, but are not limited to, school sporting events, field trips and any school sanctioned activity for clubs and groups. Please note that Fingerprinting is a one-time requirement, whereas the online Safe Environment Training must be renewed every 3 years in order to remain on the approved volunteer list.
Please allow anywhere from 3-4 weeks for completion of all requirements, depending on the time of the school year. If you have any questions please contact Mrs. Diana McCarron at firstname.lastname@example.org or call (949) 888-1990 ext. 102.
