Educational Cost Assistance
Our first round of Educational Cost Assistance applications for the 2021-22 school year have closed. We will reopen applications mid-to-late April 2021 but cannot guarantee funds will still be available.
At St. Junipero Serra Catholic School, part of our mission is to provide the opportunity for every student to receive a Catholic Education. We are therefore committed to financially assisting students and families who might not otherwise be able to attend.
We offer financial assistance in the form of Educational Cost Assistance that does not need to be repaid. The availability of Assistance funds varies according to each school year’s fundraising, and even though a family may qualify, this does not guarantee that funds are available. Priority is given to current Serra families, and an award one year is not a guarantee of an award in the future. An average award is between 5%-15% of total Educational Costs and is based on financial need.
In order to be eligible for Educational Cost Assistance, applicants must meet the following criteria:
Completed financial aid applications for the 2021-22 school year, including all required documents, must be submitted to FACTS Grant & Aid Assessment by March 26, 2021.
Returning families must re-apply for financial aid each year.
Students must be accepted and enrolled to be considered for aid.
Demonstrate a need as determined by FACTS and the St. Serra Assistance Committee (3rd party, blind).
