John Tyler

 vg

Presidents have one of the most important jobs, which is to control the United States, form laws, help those who are suffering in our country, and make decisions for the entire country. John Tyler was the tenth president, who worked hard to accomplish goals, and help the United States of America. He lived from 1790 to 1862. He attended the College of William and Mary, and majored in the study of law. He then served the House of Representatives. While serving, his hard work had paid off and later on was elected governor of Virginia. Doing a great job as governor, he was then elected Vice President in 1840.  As Vice President, he minimized the nationalist views and had intended to keep party leadership. John had discussed rights of banking bills and said that there should be a national bank across the states.  He had also delivered an Inaugural Address, and after delivering, he became president of the United States. He had annexed Texas, and this was one of the greatest achievements he had accomplished during his political life. Tyler had made changes to the conservatives and had made many accomplishments. This led to an easier lead for further presidents to come.
