President Abraham Lincoln
By: Sarah Porter
Born on February 12, 1809, he was to become one of the greatest presidents America has seen. During his presidency he acknowledged that all men were equal. Although this is already stated in the Declaration of Independence he abolished any doubt of it. He made sure to speak to each Regiment to give them all a chance to hear what they have to say. He was a very fair and understanding man, believing that all men had rights and opinions that should be heard.
