President Grover Cleveland

By: Christina Papandrea

Grover Cleveland is important to me because he was an excellent president who did many great things. Grover Cleveland was the 24th president of the United States. He did many accomplishments while being president. One of those accomplishments was he was the first man to have a wife while being in office. Before he even was married or president, he was mayor of Buffalo. But many years after being Mayor, he decided to run for president. While he was president, he did many speeches about the republicans, tariffs, and problems Chicago had. When his “time was up” for being president, he ran again, but Harrison beat him. After Harrisons “time was up” he ran again and won. While still being in office, he died of a heart attack with his wife by his side. No one will ever forget this wonderful president and all the wonderful things he did to this country.
