James Buchanan

James Buchanan 15th President
President James Buchanan is important to me and my country. He was the 15th president of our country. He was born into a well do family, and became a lawyer. When he was elected president he went trough some tough times, and was never really popular. His term was followed by the Civil War. He has been criticized because he did not take a more active stand against the secession. He is a great leader, because he has ran for president, congressman, the senate, and defense volunteer many times. This proves that he was very brave and a good leader to make decisions. Although many people might not have liked him, he was an important president for our country.
