Grover was born on March 18, 1837 in New Jersey, He did not go to school he stay and study at home for hour read book and getting smart. He was raised in New York and became a lawyer in Buffalo. At the age 44 he was more into political prominence that carried him to the White House for three years. Running as a reformer he was elected Mayor of Buffalo in 1881, and then Governor of New York. Cleveland went to presidency and won as a Democrat. He was the first democrat to be elected after the Civil War. He Later left the White House, and lived in retirement in Princeton, New Jersey. He died in 1908.
