John Adams

By: Chad Calderon

John Adams the second president and is important because he shaped history and changed the way we live today. John Adams was an inspirational person who was good at heart and wanted to do what is right for his country. He was more remarkable as a political philosopher than as a politician. He told this to his wife "My country has in its wisdom contrived for me the most insignificant office that ever the invention of man contrived or his imagination conceived." This is the true meaning of being the president and he was willing to fight for this office; he thought there was no man better suit for this position then himself. Despite several brilliant naval victories, he still wanted peace and did not strife for war. He wanted peace for his country and tried with every ounce in his body to keep the United States of America. He inspired many other presidents to do the same.
