Warren G. Harding

I think that Warren Harding was a great president who made many lasting improvements during his presidency. He was born on November 2, 1865 in Corsica, Ohio. After many years of school he graduated from Ohio central College. He then became Ohio State Senate in 1899. Many people in Ohio admired him so much that they suggested he run for president. He ended up winning the election by an unpredicted landslide of 60 percent of the popular vote. He became the 29th president. Once Warren began his presidency he kept things under control by establishing a Federal Budging System. He also tried hard to tighten limitations against immigration and slash taxes. He worked so hard for our country that newspapers hailed him as a wise statesman. People liked how he carried out his promise, “Less government in business and more business in government.” Even though Warren Harding died from a heart attack soon after he was elected, he always tried to make our country the best it could be!
