Woodrow Wilson

Woodrow Wilson was a president who made decisions that changed America. He issued the Underwood Act and the Federal Reserve Act which gave America the elastic money supply it desperately needed. During his first term Congress issued the Anti-Trust Legislation which prohibited unfair business, they also made laws that outlawed child labor and limited railroad workers to an eight hour day. After being re-elected, Wilson declared that America would join World War II against Germany. He tried to present Paris with the Versailles Treaty, but the Senate rejected it. He then went on a national tour to promote the treaty. Unfortunately, he had a stroke during his tour and lived until 1924. Woodrow Wilson made the decision to put America into World War II, changing America.
