Andrew Jackson

Andrew Jackson was the 7^th president of the United States. He was also a lawyer in Tennessee, before he was president and went to law school in Salisbury, North Carolina. He was a major general in the war of 1812. Jackson became a national hero when he defeated the British at New Orleans. He was president from 1829-1837.
