· He arrived at Andrew’s Air Force Base and met the President on April 15, 2008. · On April 16th it was the Pope’s Birthday and was received by the President and the First Lady in a White House Lawn Ceremony. · On April 17th the Pope celebrated Mass with 46,000 people at Nationals Park in Washington D.C. · On April 18th the Pope arrived in JFK National Airport in New York. He also attended a Prayer Service with the Christian Leaders of various denominations. |
