Tortoise

My animal eats plants and leaves. Two interesting facts learned about my animal is that during the 1920 there were 1,000 California desert tortoises . The tortoises can weigh up to 8-15 lbs.  My animal is a reptile.

T also learned that the banded Gila monster lizard lives in the Sonoran desert and that it can be up two 2feet long and that it can weigh up two three pounds.

  My animal is the desert tortoise. It is a reptile. The desert tortoise likes to eat herbs, grasses, and wildflowers. It is a herbivore. It hides in its shell when predators come. Unlike sea turtles, the desert tortoises’ body isn’t used or made for swimming, bathing, or even water.

My animal likes to eat grass, roots, weeds, forbs, and blossoms.  An interesting fact about my animal is that it is a vegetarian and it has creamy colored feet. They also have short ears and they are often hidden in there furan skull has 22 teeth.

 The tarantula hawk is a part of the wasp family.

 It also lays its eggs on the tarantula after it kills it.

After the eggs hatch the babies eat the tarantula and the way it kills it is by stinging it.
