St. Peter

1. His Life
   1. He was a fisherman, just like his brother, Andrew.
   2. Peter was introduced to Jesus by his brother Andrew.
   3. Peter became a disciple of Jesus.
   4. Peter holds the keys  to heaven.
2. What virtues he models
   1. When he meet Jesus, he fell to the ground to be humble to himself.
   2. Jesus named him Peter (The Rock) because of his faith.
   3. Peter was crucified upside down, in honor of Jesus
   4. He models faith, because he followed Jesus and didn't even question him.
3. His importance to our Church
   1. Saint Peter was the first Pope of the Roman Catholic Church.
   2. Peter was also one of Jesus' disciples.
   3. Peter was the head of the Apostles, his position made evident in the Acts.
   4. He was the first disciple to perform a miracle with Jesus.
