St. Peter
I.
His life

- He fished with his brother and worked when he was young.
- He recorded much more of Jesus life than any other disciple.
- He died in Rome around 64.
II. What virtues he models
- Leader,
He is always listed first and is talked about the most. Everyone knows his name and he led us to believe in God, for he was a missionary and Jesus's disciple.
- Humility,
He died by being
crucified upside down because he said he is not worthy enough to die like Jesus.
- Trustworthy,
Jesus trusted Peter
because he said that he will give him the keys to heaven and that he is going to build the church upon a rock.
III. His importance to our Church
- He permitted the new church to be universal.
- He was the first Pope.
- He was one of Jesus's
disciples.
