St. Peter
  1. Life
    1. St. Peter was a native in Bethsaida.
    2. Peter was crucified on the Vatican Hill.
    3. Peter was recognized as the Prince of the Apostles.
  2. What virtues he models
    1. Peter is respectful to Jesus because he followed Jesus at the Last Supper.
    2. After Peter denied Jesus three times, he became loyal and he asked for forgiveness.
    3. After Jesus said "Feed my lambs...Tend my sheep...Feed my sheep", he became patient and he never gave up.
  3. His importance to our Church
    1. Peter's feast day is on June 9 and he is also honored on February 22 and November 18.
    2. Peter was chosen by Jesus to preside all the nations.
    3. St. Peter was the first bishop at Rome.  He was one of the greatest saint in the whole world.
