-
His life
-
He was a neighbor of Bathsaida and he worked like his brother Andrew as a fisherman on the lake Genasareth.
-
Peter was introduced to Jesus by his brother Andrew and Christ called Peter to become a disciple. Then when Peter caught so many fish, he fell down before the Lord and he said do not be afraid because now you will be a catching man.
-
He acted as a true disciple and then when the master was arrested he cut off a servants ear and then denied Christ three times and then wept.
-
What virtues he models
-
The virtues he modeled were courage because he stood up for his master and cut the king's slave's ear off.
-
Another virtue he modeled was faith because he believed in God when his catch of fish was loaded.
-
Also, he showed dedication, commitment, and determination when he helped prepare for the Last Supper.
-
His importance to our Church
-
His importance to our church was that he played a big roll in making our church how it is now.
-
Another important thing he did for our church was that he was the first pope and that led to us having many other popes in the Catholic church.
-
He was also important to the church in the way of the that he was basically the founder of our church.
