St. Peter
His life
- He was introduced to Jesus by Andrew while fishing.

He helped organize the Last Supper and played a major role in the events of
the Passion. When Jesus was arrested, he cut off the right ear of a
slave of the high priest Malchus and then denied Christ three times as the
Lord predicted.

He is recorded more than any other disciple, and was at Jesus’ side at the
Transfiguration, the raising of Jairus’ daughter, and the Agony of the
Garden of Gethsemane.

What virtues he models
- St. Peter shows the virtue of loyalty by,
when Jesus was arrested, he cut of the right ear of Malchus so that he could
deafened Jesus.

and he was the first Pope of the Church.
