His life

Peter was a native of Bethsaida.
Bethsaida was where Saint Peter was born. It is also where he was raised.
- Peter worked as a fisherman on Lake
Genesareth. This job was carried down through his family. His brother taught him
the proper way of doing it.

Peter was introduced to Jesus by his brother. He was
then made an apostle by Christ. He was also
the first pope in Italy.

What virtues he models
- Faith: Peter was faithful to God. He
was at Jesus' side during the Transfiguration, the raising of Jairus' daughter,
and the Agony at the Garden of Gethsemane. Peter showed that he loved God by
being faithful.
- Love: Peter took care of others and comforted
them in times of need. He loved God with all of his heart. Peter also showed
love by being faithful.

Trustworthy: Peter was given the keys of
heaven by Jesus because Jesus trusted him. Peter was at most of the important
events and never let Jesus down until he denied him three times.

to perform miracles through Christ
