St. Peter

   I. His life

  A. St. Peter was our first pope.

  B.  Peter was a native of Bethsaida, near Lake Tiberias.

  C. He was the son of John, and worked like his brother St. Andrew, as a fisherman on Lake Genesareth.

  II.   What virtues he models

   A.   St. Peter was very religious, he was the pope and, he help bring together the Last Supper.

   B.   He was faithful to his people, and he was a good pope.

   C.   He also believed in his apostles, and he stuck up for what he believed in.

 III. His importance to our Church

    A.     He helped organize the last supper, and played a big role in the events of the passion.

    B.    He was one of Jesus' disciples, and he followed Jesus' words, and teachings.

    C.    He was also an important man, and played a big role for the Catholic religion.
