St. Peter

  1. Early life
    1. Peter was a native Bedside, near lake Tiberius, the son of John,
    2. Worked like his brother St. Andre as a fisherman
    3. The son of John
  2. What virtues he models
    1. Denial: He didn't want other people to know about him and so he told people that he was another person and all of this false stuff about him.
    2. Loyalty: St. Peter was very loyalty to Jesus and he would never disobey him. He also spread the word of God throught the world.
    3. Courage: He was the first pope of our church and he built the concrete to our church.  
  3. His importance to our Church
    1. He helped organize the last supper and played a major role in the Passion
    2. Andrew, his brother, introduced him to Jesus
    3. St. Peter is found to be called the "Rock" that the Catholic church was founded
