Peter was a native in Bethsaida and worked as a fisherman on Lake Genesareth.

Peter saw the Transfiguration on the mountain where Jesus talked to Elijah and Moses.

Peter walked on the water, but soon became scared and fell, for he forgot his faith.

Peter was crucified upside down on Vatican Hill. He believed he was unworthy of being killed in the same way his Lord was.

Peter was the first pope of the Catholic church, and with the help of Jesus, he developed our foundation.

He helped spread Catholicism throughout the world and got others to believe in the Trinity.

He wrote epistles to the people telling about Jesus and giving them religious guidance.
