St. Peter

- His life
- He is a native of Bethsaida and was a fisherman like his brother
St.Andrew.

When Jesus was arrested, he cut of the ear of a
slave, denied Christ three times, and began to weep.
- After the death of
Christ, Peter went to the tomb of Christ and found that Jesus was not in his tomb anymore. Peter was the first
person to see the risen Christ.
- What virtues he models
- Compassion

Peter
baptized a Roman Pagan and preached to the gentiles, and by him doing
that the church became universal.

Faithful
Jesus said to Peter that he will be able to go to heaven and whatever he holds close to his heart on earth shall be with him in heaven. -
Leadership
Peter is the first disciple to
perform miracles with the help of the Lord.
