St. Peter

1. His life.
   A. Peter worked as a fisherman for his father on Lake Genesareth.
   B. He was a native to Bethsaida, near Lake Tiberias.
   C. Peter was introduced to Jesus by Andrew, and Christ called on Peter to be a disciple and to always follow him.
   D. Peter was the first pope of Cephas, and Prince of the Apostles.
   
2. Which virtues he modeled.
   A. Faith, because he had faith when he was following Jesus.
   B. Love, because he loved his brother and father and helped them catch fish and do work.
   C. Loyal, because he would always do what Jesus wanted him to do.
3. Importance to the church
   A. He stayed close to God, so that teaches us to always follow God.
   B. After Jesus died, he took charge of the disciples.
   C. Peter also was responsible in bringing the Gospel to the Gentiles.
