Early life

Peter was a Bethsaida. He was the son of John.

Peters brother name is St. Andrew.
He was a fisherman on Lake Genesareth.

Andrew introduced Peter to Jesus, and Christ called Peter to become a disciple.

What virtues he models
- Denial/ loyalty : when peter was asked f he new Jesus he denied knowing
him three time but the way he died was upside down cause he thought he was not
worthy of dieing the way Jesus did
- Faith: peter was always
faithful to Jesus by following him in what he did. He had faith in Jesus at all
times
- Compassion: he showed compassion towards Jesus, the other
apostles, and other people
- His importance to our Church
- Courage- he defended Jesus when he was being arrested by cutting of the mans ear.
- Faith- he followed Jesus and never doubted him.
- Denied- he denied Jesus three times.
