What was the Renaissance? Renaissance means “rebirth” in French.
When and where did the Renaissance begin?
The Renaissance occurred during the Middle Ages. it went through the years of
fourteenth and sixteenth century.
Influential People The most influential people were artists because all people could enjoy looking at their work, yet not everybody was able to read and write. And they thought a new way to draw called perspective.
Claude Dablon he was born in France Dieppe on February 1618 he died May 3, 1697. He was a teacher in France. He lived in Canada in 1655. He established missions among the Indians.
king Henry VIII – He was born on 1491 he wrote the most famous music ever. Some of King Henry’s songs were written about loyalty. “He is in every respect a most accomplishment prince.” He died in 1547.
Leonardo de Vinci- wrote poetry, literature, inventor, scientist, musician, teacher, and architect. He was one of the most famous people in the world. He was known as the Renaissance man.
Nicholas Copernicus- was born on February 19, 1473 he studied mathematics, philosophy, astronomy, and astrology at the universities of Bologna and Padua.
