What was the Renaissance?
       
The Renaissance means "rebirth" of Italy. It grew in literature, math, science, art, and architecture. The Renaissance started because of peoples interest in Greek and Romans.

        MICHELANGELO  He lived in 1475 to 1564.He made many paintings that contributed to the history of art. He is a inspiration for many people around the world. Many of his paintings are well known around the world.He didn't just paint he sculpted, wrote poems, and designed buildings.I pick him because he wasnt just known for one thing he did he did many other things that made him famous

Music
        Giovanni Palestrina Was one of the most important composers of the Renaissance time. He was Italian and mostly wrote religious songs. He is called to be one of the best composers of his time.

Dante Alighieri-He wrote in Italian and love to to Wright poetry. He was one of very few who wrote in his own home Country language. He wrote "The Divine Comedy"
