What was the Renaissance? The Renaissance was the rebirth of Italy,
When and where did the Renaissance begin? The Renaissance was in Florence, Italy around the 1300s and 1600s.
Influential People- The Influential People are the artist, writers, scientist, architectures, engineers, and astronomers, because they changed the way the society thinks and lives. The new way of thinking was called humanism.
Art and Architecture- Leonardo Da Vinci - He lived in Vinci, Italy . he was an artist, inventor, and engineer, Leo painted a very famous painting called The Mona Lisa. I chose Leonardo because I wrote a paragraph on him in Music, so I already knew a lot about him and i think he is very interesting.
Music- Johannes Tinctoris-composer, 1435–1511, he was employed at the Cambria Cathedral. He is known to have studied in The Orleans. His writings were influential on composers and other music theorists for the remainder of the Renaissance. He is a very good composer and thinks he is very interesting to learn about.
Literature - Giovanni Pico Della Mirandola, 1463-1494, he was an Italian Renaissance philosopher. He wrote the famous Oration on the Dignity of Man. He learned Latin at a very young age. I picked him because he wrote Oration on the Dignity to justified the importance of humanism, and he really cared about peoples knowledge.
Math and Science- Galileo Galilee – 1564-1642 He is a mathematician, and taught the world a lot of great things. I chose him because he was very into studied human knowledge.
How the Renaissance affects us.
The Renaissance affected us by I taught us how some are inventions came from and who the great people are. We couldn't have got were we are today, because the engineers, artist, scientist and so on, they were and still are the greatest people in their time. The people also made new discoveries that changed our lives. The music has affected us , I have learned this through music calls. The sacred and secular music has changed the music every year, by taking their ideas and developing a more high tech way of doing it.
