Art and Architecture

Leonardo da Vinci was one of the first artists to draw the anatomy of the human body in his painting Mona Lisa. He also was an inventor and drew a lot of ideas to be made into inventions. Leonardo also studied the anatomy of the human body, that way he could draw humans. he painted with perspective, which means that he used passion in his works. I chose Leonardo because he painted one for the world's most famous paintings, Mona Lisa.

Music

King Henry was a great music composer, yet a king, and author and an amazing poet. King Henry VIII lived from 1491 to 1547 in England. He was the King of England and Lord of Ireland, yet being a famous musician.  Many significant pieces of legislation were enacted during Henry VIII's reign. They even established him as the supreme head of the Church of England. I chose King Henry VIII because he made many contributions and did many things while still having time to be a musician, poet, and an author. Music used to be all sacred, but eventually became secular. I chose Henry because he was a great role model to the music world.

Literature

William Shakespeare is one of the greatest writers of his time. He was amazing and wrote more than 30 comedies, tragedies, and histories. He lived from 1564 to 1616. William's writings and plays are still performed and read by many in the world. Dante Alighieri was one of the first people to write in Italian because that was the language  that the people spoke and all the local people knew that language. I chose William because he has written some mo\any great things that life is sometimes based on. I also chose Dante because he was the first one to change the language from Latin to Italian.

Math and Science

Galileo was known as a genius because he accomplished so many things and had many occupations. He lived from  1554 to 1642 in Italy. He was an Italian physicist, mathematician, astronomer, and philosopher. Galileo is known as, “The father of modern astronomy, physics, and astronomy.” Some of his greatest achievements include the first systematic studies of uniformly accelerated motion, improvements to the telescope, a wide range or variety of astronomical observations, and support for Copernicanism. I chose Galileo because he realized that the earth revolved around the sun and discovered many more things.
