The Renaissance was a time period where the rebirth of the Middle Ages followed. The word "renaissance" means rebirth and to rebirth means that there is something new or there will be something new.
When and where did the Renaissance begin?
It
began in Florence, Italy in
Europe during the 1300s to
the 1600s.
Influential people during the Renaissance Era were Michelangelo, Leonardo Da Vinci, William Shakespeare and Marco Polo. Marco Polo was famous because he used the Silk Road from Europe to Asia and lived there for 20 years then came back and told people about Asia. William Shakespeare was famous because he was a pioneer to poets and people who loved Literature. Michelangelo was famous because he was a phenomenal painter and sculptor who also worked for the Church. Some of Michelangelo's greatest masterpieces were the Sistine Chapel. Leonardo was famous because he used math in his pieces of art and also studied Anatomy . Some of his masterpieces were the Mona Lisa, The Last Supper, and the Vitruvian Man.
Leonardo Da Vinci and Michelangelo changed the world with their phenomenal artistic talents.
Italian art was far more impressive to early art because they used perspective which means they used straight lines, color, and smaller items in the background.
Michelangelo was a great artist, which many of his works was for the Roman Catholic Church.
Leonardo De Vinci is famous for humanity and painted the Mona Lisa.
Music during the Renaissance was more sacred than secular. Niccolo was a musician.
William Shakespeare was an amazing poetic artist who touched people with his delicate and astounding word pictures.

The created new symbols to make math more complex and to explain things.
How the Renaissance affects us.
They have made many things to help us and made a new era that changed the world forever.
The Printing Press helped us to
make books and re-write the bible.
