When and where did the Renaissance begin?
The Renaissance began in Florence, Italy and spread throughout Europe during the 1300s through the 1600s.
It began in Florence, Italy then moved to Europe .
.
People who are influential in the Renaissance were the artists because they drew realistic pictures of the body which made us know how the body worked.
Leonardeo da Vinci lived in Italy and lived from 1452-1519. He is so famous because he designed Mona Lisa and the Last Supper. He also invented the calculator and helicopter which are very useful today . I chose him because he painted the Last Supper which gives us an idea on how it was in their lifetime and also how creative artist can be.
Guillaume Dufay lived in Beersel and lived from 1397-1519. He is so famous to us because he is one of the composers who served as an artistic link between the Renaissance. I chose him because he is very influential to the Renaissance and he shows us that you can make a difference to the world.
Michelangelo lived in Caprese and lived in the time period 1474-1564. He is famous because two of his biographies were published during his own lifetime. I chose him because he shows if you work hard it will pay off and then other people will want to do the same.
Filippo Brunelleschi lived time time period 1377 April 15, - 1446. He is famous because he designed a huge dome for the cathedral in Florence, but he ran into a problem. The dome that he wanted to build was so big that it would be to big for the cathedral walls to support. To solve this problem he built two thin, light layers instead of one, thick one. I chose him because if he never built the cathedral we wouldn't as advanced as we are today.
