people, because they had more than enough money for food, they had time to
spend on entertainment and education, and they had big luxurious houses.
They also knew how to read which was good for understanding a contract.

How
the Renaissance affects us.
In the beginning of the Renaissance time period,
clocks began to develop. In 1280, eye glasses were invented.
Another invention made in this time period was flushing a toilet. Now
everyone flushes the toilet. Without some of these inventions it would be
more difficult to do things. They discovered matches, so they would not
have to rub sticks together anymore. In the 16th century the
Italians spread to
