The Renaissance is a period in time that means rebirth.
When and where did the Renaissance begin? In the 1300’s through the 1600’s in Florence Italy and spread to the rest of Europe. .
One important person was Leonardo da Vinci. He made many great discovers many of which we use today. He also painted many different paintings like the Mona Lisa, and the Last Supper.
Art and Architecture some of the most famous peaces of art from this time are the Mona Lisa and the Last Supper painted by Leonardo DiVinci. .
Music In this period the music styles changed from sacred to secular. Also new instruments were invented along with a form of notes.
Literature A man named William Shakespeare started writing many great plays like, Hamlet, and Romeo and Juliet and many more that are still performed today.
Math and Science New math was made like, square roots. Most people thought that the earth was the center of the universe and that all the stars and the sun revolved around the earth.
How the Renaissance affects us. It affected us because we use many things that we use today.
