Renaissance means rebirth in French, this name refers to the multiple changes in art, architecture, math, and science. The Renaissance also was in the time period of some of the worlds greatest thinkers. It was also a time when key inventions mere made.
When and where did the Renaissance begin
The Renaissance started in the thirteen-fifties in Florence Italy. It started when Marco Polo traveled the silk road, and brought new ideas and creations. Due to the eras new ideas, inventions, and ways of thinking, the Renaissance quickly spread.
I think that artists made a large general impact on the renaissance era, because during the Renaissance because a lot of famous artists lived in that era.
One of which was Leonardo Da Vinci, who drew millions of paintings, such as the Mona Lisa. He also invented ingenious flying machines, unfortunately none of them worked. Michelangelo was also a fairly accomplished artist. He drew the ceiling of the Sistine Chapel, and because it was in a church where everyone could see it, it was an influence to artists "to be" everywhere
Artists and architects in the Renaissance became craftier, for example, architects in the Renaissance made the double layered dome, which was lighter and tougher. And artists came up with perspective, which gave paintings more detail. Medieval paintings were plain with no detail, and were very abstract.
There were a lot of famous musicians existed during the Renaissance, and many of their songs are still listened to today.
Dante, a writer, decided that Italian was just as important as the Holy language of Latin, so he wrote all his books in Italian, just to prove his point.
During the Renaissance, the invention of many currently used Math symbols, such as Positive and Negative numbers, as well as square roots.
How the Renaissance affects us.
Over all, a lot of currently used Ideas and Inventions were made during this era, such as Positive and Negative numbers, Idolism, and perspective.
