President Ronald Reagan

President Ronald Reagan was the 40th president. During his lifetime some important events that took place were during World War II Ronald Reagan was part of the army reserve and was in the line of duty after Pearl Harbor. The Communists were very big before and during the time of his presidency. Reagan was the elected for office with President George Bush in 1980 against President Jimmy Carter, they won with 489 out of 538 electoral votes. President Reagan's presidency is remembered for helping bring down the Soviet Union with his "Tear down this wall speech."
