Jimmy Carter was the 39th president.
Jimmy was born in Plains, Georgia. On October 1, 1924. In 1946 he graduated from the Naval Academy in Annapolis, Maryland. He was president from 1977 to 1981.He entered the word of politics in 1962. He was governor of Georgia in 1971 to 1975. He got a Nobel Peace Prize in 2002.
