President Woodrow Wilson

Woodrow Wilson was born on December 28, 1856, in Staunton, Virginia. He became the 28th president of the United States of America in 1913. During his presidency, he did many important things, one of which was declaring war on Germany on April 2, 1917, during World War I. His presidency is most remembered because of the laws he passed to make America a better, safer place, and because he wanted to make the world "safe for democracy".
