James Monroe

James Monroe was the fifth president of The United States. He joined the Continental as a lieutenant a couple years before he was a United States senator from Virginia. He was minister of France, and also was Minister to England and Spain for President Jefferson. He was secretary of state and war. He was also chairman of Virginia Constitutional Convention. He accomplished many things in his lifetime, but he was mainly remembered because he was the Fifth Prsident.
