George H. W. Bush is the forty- first president of the United States of America. He was president from 1989-1993.He was born June 12,1924 in Milton, Massachusetts. Befor he was president he was in the armed forces. He flew 58 combat missions during World War II. In 1980 he ran up against Ronald Reagon and lost. He served two terms as Representative to congress from Texas. In 1988, Bush won the Republican nomination for President and with Senator Dan Quayle of Indian as his running mate, He defeated Massachusetts Governor Michael Dukakrs in the general election. Bush was also9 the forty third vice president of the US under Ronald Reagon. He was also a US Congressman from Texas(1967-1971). Bush was the United States Ambassador to the United Nations(1971-1973). George was the Chief of the United States Liaison Office in the Peoples Republic of China(1974-1976). He was the Republican National Committee Chairman(1973-1974) and the Director of the Central Intelligence Agency(1976-1977).
