Theodore "Teddy" Roosevelt

Theodore Roosevelt was born on October 27, 1858. He was born in the city of New York. In 1880 he joined the Republican party. ON November 8,1898 he was elected Governor of New York. On March 4, 1901 through September 14 1901 he served as the Vice President of the United States. On September 14, 1901 he became the 26th President of the United States. On March 4, 1909 his presidency ends with the inauguration of William Howard Taft. On He was 42 and became the youngest president ever elected. On October 14, 1912 he was shot in the chest while getting into his car. He is remembered for being the youngest president ever elected.
