Gerald Ford

Gerald Ford was the 38th president of the United States. He was born on July 14th 1913. He was a part of the Republican party. He was elected to congress in 1948 and he represented Michigan. He was also the 40th Vice President from 1973 to 1974. On August 20, 1974 he nominated Nelson Rockefeller to finish his Vice Presidency Because Mr. Ford went on to be the President. He was President from August 9th 1974 to January 20th 1977. He tried running for President again in 1976 but lost to Ronald Regan.
