Martin Vann Buren

Martin Van Buren was the 8th president of the United States.

Vann Buren was mostly well known for causing the worst depression known to the

United States at the time. He was 5'6", but very trim and erect and was born 1782. He had been

United States Senate, Secretary of State, Minister to Great Britain and Vice president

before his presidency in 1836.
