James Buchanan

James Buchanan was the 15th President of the United States. He served as president from 1857-1861.Served as minister to Great Britian under president Franklin Pierce. James Buchanan becomes president of the board of trustees of Franklin and Marshall College in Lancaster, PA. Representative Buchanan presents the minority report opposing a proposal by the Judiciary Committee to abrogate Section 25 of the Judiciary Act of 1789.
