Chester A. Arthur

Chester A. Arthur was the 21st president. Chester Alan Arthur was a very important president. Chester A. Arthur was a very independent president. Chester A. Arthur vetoed the notorious Pork-barrel Rivers. He believed growing surplus of federal funds should be decreased by tax reductions .He was disgusted with the look of look of the executive mansion, so he hired the most elegant designer to put new designs into the mansion. This is how Chester A. Arthur refurbished the White House. He was known as an elegant man who loved to throw parties. He was also known as "The Gentleman Boss."
