Bill Clinton

Bill Clinton was the 42^nd president.  Under him the U.S. enjoyed more peace and economy welfare than at any other time in history. He was the 1^st Democratic president since Frank Roosevelt to win a 2^nd term. He had the lowest unemployment rate in modern times, lowest in 30 years, the highest home ownership in the country's history, dropping crime rates, and reduced welfare rolls. He proposed the 1^st balanced budget in decades and achieved a budget surplus. To celebrate the year 2000, Clinton proposed a great campaign to end racialism.  During his lifetime, there have been 3 wars (Korean, Viet Nam, and Iraq), 11 presidents (Truman, Eisenhower, Kennedy, Johnson, Nixon, Ford, Carter, Reagan, Bush Sr., himself, and Bush Jr., and the assassination of President John Kennedy.
