President William J. Clinton

By: Mary McCarthy

My president is William J. Clinton, also known as Bill Clinton.  Bill Clinton was the 42nd president of the United States of America.  Bill Clinton made his way to presidency through college to Governor then to the presidency. When he was 16, he visited the White House and met President John F. Kennedy, this influenced him greatly to think about and run for president. He met his wife, Hilary Rodham Clinton, in his years at Yale Law.  He was the governor of Arkansas and then soon became President of the U.S.  Clinton did some interesting things during his presidency. For example, he was well known for his near impeachment because of his incident with White House intern, Monica Lewinski.  This incident was one of his most well known acts he did as president.
